Signs
You will almost certainly see and use signs on any journey. Signs give warnings of hazards ahead, directions and distances to places and facilities, or information on bus times, traffic delays and things for sale.
Think about a journey that you regularly take such as your journey to school. How many signs do you see on the journey? Signs can have symbols, words or a mixture of both. There are also markings on the road and sometimes on the pavement.
